2008/Early 2009 Availability
First of all, I want to say how humble that I am to be blessed with such a successful business. It has not been an easy road at times. I have worked very hard to build the business. I am very happy with where my life is right now and will continue to challenge myself as a photographer and grow the business. As an artist I never feel completely satisfied with my work. There is always that burning desire within me to be even better. I am so grateful for the weddings and portrait session bookings that I get. As a mommy of 4 (soon to be 5) children the income that I make from photography helps support our family. And everyone knows that my family comes before my business. I work around my husband's crazy law enforcement schedule so that we do not have to put our children in daycare. Therefore, my portrait session availability is very limited. My wedding clients, maternity, newborn and longtime clients are my top priority. Over the past few weeks my calendar has filled up very quickly. For the first time since I began my business I will be unable to do Christmas Mini Sessions. After much thought and consideration I realized that there just was not any time this year to fit them in. Unfortunately, there is only one Amy and if I could clone myself a few times to create a Holiday Session Photographer I would. I will still be shooting regular sessions over the next few months and do have a few spots available so e-mail me if you are interested. Everyone that has contacted me over the past months and inquired about a session IS on my list for October, November, December and January so don't panic! I will also be selling Holiday Cards for anyone that has come to me for a session in 2008. You can have ANY image from your session placed on a card and my new designs will be added to the boutique soon. ALL upcoming sessions that are booked or on the list will also have the option to buy Holiday Cards with a photo from their session.
The business is growing and so is the Barry Family. We are excited to be expecting our 5th child in February 2009!!! I have not finalized the timeframe for my maternity leave yet and may wait until next year to make my decision. Welcoming another newborn into an already busy household should be interesting. As of now, this is my remaining 2008/early 2009 availability.
October 2008 - Weddings on October 4th, 18th and 25th - Portrait Sessions BOOKED
November 2008 - Weddings on November 8th and 15th - Portrait Sessions BOOKED
December 2008 - Weddings on December 5th, 20th, 27th and 31st - Portrait Sessions BOOKED
January 2009 - No Weddings - BEGIN Maternity Leave
February 2009 - Maternity Leave
March 2009 - Weddings on March 7th and 21st - No Portrait Sessions
April 2009 - Weddings on April 3rd, 11th and 25th - No Portrait Sessions
